My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

While the name Buns may not be the most original, this characteristic is not true of this rabbit's wonderful story.

Buns was found on a golf course, abandoned with two other rabbits. The golf course attendants took notice of the overly friendly and definitely domesticated rabbits. Over the coming weeks, Buns was the only one to stick around. They began feeding Buns near the club house, and this little rabbit took up residence under their deck, hiding from danger, but always close enough to come bounding out for food.

Buns started displaying some neurological symptoms a few months after settling into his foster home. He was treated for a possible parasitic cause of his symptoms. This treatment prevented the advancement of signs but did not reverse his current symptoms. And that is what makes buns so special!

Buns is a very active and curious bunny who loves head pets, food, wrapping himself up in blankets and his tunnels. He is enthusiastic when you come to visit him in his pen and sometimes goes a little too fast resulting in his loss of balance. One of his cutest traits is that he will burrow into a blanket until he is fully covered up!

He is wobbly in his movements but he has no idea he is a little different! He is looking for a fur-ever home that will accept his quirks and love him unconditionally.

Buns is neutered and vaccinated.
