My story

Honey has spent a lot of time taking care of others, we are hoping to find someone to take care of her.

Honey had a litter of two that she doted on every day. After having them, her foster family took in two additional kittens they didn't believe would make it - and so did she. Now all 4 of her babies are happy, healthy, and with their new families. All thanks to her!

Honey would be great in a quiet home or as an indoor/outdoor cat. She likes love and affection but on her terms. Honey is not a lap cat but she will sit next to you for ear rubs and a brush.

We require a 1. pre-adoption questionnaire to be filled out first. meeting will be set up to meet pet in person
A veterinarian reference required
home visit for dogs ma be virtual . Our adoption fees range from $200 to $450, depending on the breed and age of the dog. Final adoption contracts will be completed at PetSmart in Newnan, GA when possible. All fosters will be spayed/neutered, received all vaccinations, and microchipped prior to placement. Adopt fees for cats are $85 - $175 depending on age and breed.

The Georgia Heartland Humane Society, Inc. was founded in 1995 based upon the concept that all life is sacred and that animals deserve a pain-free and peaceful existence.

We are a nonprofit agency which receives no government assistance. It relies solely on the generosity of the public, striving to maintain its strong fundraising efforts within the community and with area businesses and corporations. We do not operate a shelter, but offer services to the residents of our community and their companion animals. Our volunteers are passionate in their belief that all pets deserve loving families and are working towards accomplishing that goal through community service programs.
