Looking for a loyal dog to be your companion, just like Snoopy? Alyce has been waiting for you too and can’t wait to be by your side for adventures or just watching TV. She is the perfect blend of playful and cuddler and when she comes up to you with those eyes you can’t help to fall in love. Alyce gets along great with other dogs and would love a buddy to play in the yard with. She loves toys and enjoys the warmth of the sun as she will often take her naps spread out in that one spot the sun shines through the window. She is very smart and knows how to sit and has a very great sense of smell. She doesn’t love the crate as she just wants to be with you and she is still trying to decide if she likes the leash or not. She does good with recall and will often stays right by your side as you walk in the yard. Her fur is soft and very low so no problems with shedding. She can have a sensitive stomach which has caused her to have a few accidents in the house, but she is mostly potty trained and will use a pee pad if you can’t be around for a while. Alyce will do well with any family who is ready to work with her on training through her puppy stage.

Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policies, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.

Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.
