Welcome Paco to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Corgi/Dachshund mix is our best guess. He is about 12 pounds full grown. He is a quiet boy at the rescue. He is certainly trying to figure out what has happened. He was living in a car with his family. They decided they could no longer care for Paco. He is now in the hustle and bustle environment of the Rescue. He has taken to Marlene and trusts her completely. He is shy of new people. His best home will be with an older couple, an older single person or a lower energy person seeking a lap companion. He may not be your social butterfly but he will be a wonderful companion dog for someone in a quieter environment. A shared wall setting and a smaller yard would be fine. Someone gentle, kind and has some experience with a shy dog. Kids that are older would be best. He is good with other dogs and lives with a cat. He is getting neutered and all his vaccines and will be ready for his forever home soon. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
