My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: November 2019

Meet Truffles:

Tenderhearted Truffles, so regal in ruffles, now welcomes our pets and head scratches, even giving us head butts if we stand before her long enough. Fond of having her long, lush coat brushed, she’s even fonder of taking treats from our hand and then asking for more. In her quieter moments, she enjoys sitting by the window to watch the birds and the squirrels outside and dreams of finding love in a quiet fur-ever home.

Go meet their pets

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

More about this rescue

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.
