Sir Lancelot is a real stunner and is your knight in shining armor! With his handsome white fur and striking, romantic eyes (one blue and one greenish gold-known as heterochromia) Lance is very interesting to look at and is the first cat we have had with 2 different color eyes here at the rescue! It is important to note that the vet says that he has some permanent scarring causing his eyes to weep regularly. He will need his eyes wiped several times a day and possibly ongoing medication as needed to help manage his eyes. ***PLEASE NOTE! The ongoing medication he is currently on is just eye drops... they are not super expensive and are very easy to apply! Really not a big deal but due to this, he is a cat who is considered to have some special needs.***
Sir Lancelet has a hearty appetite and enjoys getting plenty of attention from his people! What a little lover he is! If you are looking for a sweet, friendly male cat that likes to play and spend time with you, Lance is your man! Lancelot gets along well with other cats once given an appropriate amount of time to adjust but is sometimes intimidated by other males. Being the ladies' man that he is, he tends to prefer the company of female cats but he would also be fine as an only pet. Lance also does fine with kittens and dogs. It is important for him to start out with a special little area of his own and he likes to eat in a separate area away from other animals if he has the choice. Sir Lancelot has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped! We are a small, nonprofit 501c3 rescue that has the goal to home and re-home at-risk cats as well as provide TNR and Spay and Neuter Assistance to individuals who can’t afford it. We work with other animal rescue groups to prevent cruelty and neglect to animals and to assure lifetime safe and secure homes to at-risk animals, primarily cats.
