My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little man Marley will melt your heart upon first sight. He is a unique little man. We believe Marley is around 7-8 years old, weighs 8 lbs., and came to our rescue as one of 22 dogs taken in from a confiscation case (with his fur sibling Pup Pup). He was very underweight and had ulcers and wounds on his tiny body. After 10 days of care at the vet, this little guy is much better and what a personality he has! He prances and gallops like a miniature Arabian horse when he is happy. He dances for his dinner and this little boy loves to talk! He also playing with toys. If he could, he would snuggle with her person all day long. His perfect day would to be carried around in a papoose around your shoulder all day. He snuggles under blankets and is happy to give kisses as he is truly appreciative of his new leash on life. He plays with the other dogs in the house and gets along great with cats as well. Marley is house trained as long as he is taken out often. He will walk on a leash but does need more practice getting comfortable doing so. Since he's on the small side, he would do best in an all-adult home and, if the home has dogs, they be closer to his size. Due to his previous circumstances he gets a little food protective so it would be best if her were fed separately until he realizes his food will come regularly and without worry, but we think with enough time and patience (and a full belly) that behavior will improve. He has so much love to give and will be the perfect little companion! If you live in the central Florida (Orlando) area and think you have the perfect forever home for Marley, we’d love to find out more about you. Please complete our adoption application and we’ll see if you’re Marley's perfect match.
