My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apply to Adopt Me!

Pretty girl Bailey: her eyes are the window to this gentle pup’s soul. Found pregnant as a stray, Bailey had her puppies at a local shelter. After a few weeks of intense motherhood, Bailey and her two puppies were fostered together, where she was a nurturing and patient mama. Now, with her puppies weaned and off to their next adventure, Bailey is ready to bring her calm and loving energy to your home. This beautiful brindle and white gal is estimated to be 6 years old and weighs 59 lbs. She loves hugs, cuddles and naps. She is smart and easy going. Bailey is a very food motivated dog and will give 100% of her focus and attention to any training task rewarded with a treat or snack of kibble. Bailey plays with toys, her favorite is a hard plastic ball that makes sounds when it rolls. She has several other toys and bones she plays with too. She walks well on a leash and is learning to navigate elevators. She is fully house trained and is good riding in a car. Bailey has been tested with other dogs and has done well. As long as the other dog in the home is not a puppy or an in-her-face pushy type dog, but rather a more confident, chill dog that can take cues, Bailey will do fine. Of course we always recommend slow intros for any dogs. Bailey is good with all people including kids - we are recommending if the home has kids that they be 10 years old and up, small kids may make her nervous. She was also tested with cats, and although she fixated somewhat on the cat, she was easily distracted with treats. If the home has a cat, we prefer the owner to be savvy with dogs and cats and be able to work with her. She would probably chase a cat, but with some training, we believe she would do well with the right cat that was confident, used to large dogs and would not run. If the home does not have a fenced yard, she must get daily exercise with long walks. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, and believe you have the perfect home for Bailey, please complete an app and tell us more about you.

More about this rescue

We are a small 501(c)3 dog rescue. We take owner surrenders and we pull from local shelters. We, like so many others, are just trying to make a difference.
