Rigby was an owner surrender to the county shelter. His owners did not have the time needed to meet the needs of puppy. Rigby was born on January 7th, and he is a growing, 28-pound Pit Bull mix. Rigby’s owners did try to do right by him, because he has the most amazing sit and he will hold the position, looking at you intently for more direction. Rigby is an absolute love; he enjoys making the rounds in a room full of people. He wants to say hello to everyone and make sure they know they are welcome into his circle of friends. Rigby is true to his puppy nature, and he can be easily distracted by shiny, or squeaky, items! Home Fur Good has been working with Rigby on his social skills with other dogs. He comes in hot meeting other pups, and not all pups like that approach. Another HFG dog resident, Kitty, does not mind Rigby’s style of play and she happily romps with him. Rigby is just waiting for you to make the call to come and meet him. The adoption fee is $300 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment.
