Introducing Violet, a gentle two-year-old, 26-pound American Pit Bull Terrier
cross, waiting patiently for her forever home. Though she may be a bit shy
at first, Violet warms up quickly with a gentle approach. She appreciates it
when people approach her slowly, showing her that they mean no harm.
Once she feels secure, Violet opens up, eagerly accepting pets, treats, and
all the love and attention she deserves. She's a natural on the leash,
walking nicely by your side as you explore the world together. With a little
patience and time, this sweet girl blossoms, revealing her true playful and
affectionate nature.
One of Violet's unique charms is her curiosity. She’s a lowrider and her
nose is close to the ground. She loves to go on a sniffari, exploring every
nook and cranny of her environment.
Violet’s adoption fee of $225 covers essential services such as
spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary
wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
If you're ready to welcome Violet into your heart and home, don't hesitate to
schedule an appointment during adoption hours, Thursday through
Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, by calling 602-971-1334. Your new
best friend may be just a phone call away.

Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.

More about this rescue
Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.
We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
