My name is Ken West. I have a home in Wylie, but I work in North Dakota for extended periods of time. After a recent divorce, my ex-wife left her animals at my home. At this point, I have found homes for all of the animals except Maggie the Cat.

In my absence during work periods, my elderly father does his best to take care of Maggie for me. Based upon this burden on him and the potential for a better quality of life for Maggie, I believe it's in her best interest that I find her a more stable home environment.

I believe Maggie is about 4 or 5 years old. She loves being around people, including children. Maggie seems very healthy. She has not been declawed. She doesn't seem to mind dogs, but based upon a personality conflict with another cat that was also here in my home, other cats seem to make her a little nervous. Her skill sets include napping, cuddling, and sleeping.

My ex-wife did not leave any shot records or FIV testing results for any of the animals, including Maggie. I do know that she has been spayed, which suggests that at one time she had current medical records.

I am more than happy to pay a new owner for any shots or medical attention that Maggie might need. I am currently out of town and may not be home for weeks, but if it will help to place her more easily, I can have my father assist with getting her to a vet prior to placement.
