Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ranchero is an approximately one year old Chihuahua mix. He comes from a very sheltered background and is just learning to be a happy dog. He is almost fully potty trained, is crate trained, and loves other dogs. (He has been untested with cats)He is very shy and unsure of himself and when first meeting strangers but warms up after a bit.
He definitely needs another companion in the home as he is still learning and takes his cues from the other pups. He also need a fenced yard to romp around in as he has never had this and is experiencing and loving it for the first time.

Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.
