My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A very special girl named Bran is looking for a very special home!

See, Bran doesn't know that she's special. She is confident, full of life and absolutely sure that she's no different than the other cats. She plays. She climbs. She cuddles. She eats like a champ. Please help us find the best possible home for sweet little Bran. Here is her story ...

Hi, friends! My name is Bran and I'm a super special girl who was born on May 1, 2021. The rescue isn't quite sure what happened to me before I came to them, but when they got me they found I have some mobility issues that cause me to wobble when I walk. I don't have control of when I go to the bathroom either, but I do very well in my diapers. I can tell you that it doesn't bother me one bit, and the volunteers describe me as confident, fearless and sassy. I am always running around with my foster siblings and I enjoy a good wrestling match. While I can walk, sometimes I get tired and drag my back legs, but I still go up and down stairs, scale cat towers and go wherever I want to go. My care is a little different than other cats, but it's pretty easy and I (aka my foster mom) can walk you through it. On the plus side, you'll never have to clean a litterbox for me. I promise if you take me home, I will have you laughing in no time with my silly antics and we can enjoy so many good snuggles together. Please give me a chance. I have lived with cats and dogs before and would love to be in a multi-animal household!

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
