***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!

Meet Stormy! Stormy is an absolutely beautiful 2yr old girl! She's got beautiful black fur with fringes that frame her very pretty face and ears. Stormy is very friendly, affectionate and loving. She get's a long with all people and *male* dogs, but not with cats.
Stormy was adopted from our rescue a year ago but her adoptive family has fallen on hard times so she’s back with us. We welcomed her with open arms!
Prior to coming to IDGSR, she was living on a chain, in horrendous conditions in Memphis (last picture).
But she’s very healthy & thriving now! Her coat is beautiful and thick. We want to give her the life she deserves with a family to love her and keep her fur-ever!
Stormy is house-broken and had good manners. She’ll need additional training so she can become the best behaved girl ever. Plus training is a great way to develop a deep bond with your new dog.
