Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dottie is an energetic 2-year-old girl who was very shut down in the shelter and had an injury on her tail. Since spending time in her foster home, she has really blossomed to show her silly side and how brave she is. And her tail is fully healed now.
Dottie's learning lots of new things in her foster home and has now mastered "sit" and seems to understand "off"... if it suits her. She's a very wiggly girl and can benefit from continued training to work on manners, like some puppy mouthiness. Because of this, we are recommending she go to a home with older, or no, children.
Dottie loves to run around outside in the yard and goof off. She is also looking for a home that will give her love every day. Maybe even a home with a super playful fur-sibling! At 40lbs, Dottie is the perfect pocket pittie size for snuggling, which she loves to do. If it was up to Dottie, she would be on top of you 100% of the time, but will settle for as close as possible until it's time to snuggle in for the night. Ultimately she seeks affection and just wants to be loved. If all of this sounds like a good fit for your home, apply to adopt her today!
