My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Remmy, a sweet 9 year old, 6 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Ava, IL. Only IL residents will be considered.

Initial Bio 10/2/22: Remmy came into our rescue Saturday, October 1st. He is a tiny guy at only 6 lbs. He is nine years old and neutered. At the present time he needs to get up to date on his vaccinations which should be done by the end of the month.

He is extremely affectionate, gets along well with other dogs, however he has never been around children that we are aware of, so we need a home with older children, preferably 12 years or older.

Remmy is marking his territory indoors, so he is wearing a belly band until we get that more under control. However, he does most of his business outdoors. He does need a fenced yard as he isnt used to a harness and leash.

He does appear to have some stiffness, probably arthritis in his back legs. Well get that checked out by the vet.

This little guy is one who will steal your heart away for sure. He has a very friendly personality and loves affection. He will make a wonderful little companion once we get his vetting all up to date!
