Sweet Jake instantly melted our hearts when we met him. Seriously, nothing but a puddle left. This skinny and nervous little hound wants nothing more than to be loved and snuggled. At only a year old, he’s been in multiple homes, so it’s no wonder he’s starving for attention - and food, as his body shows. But now he’s safe with us and looking for find that loving home he so craves. As far as we can tell, Jake is friendly and polite with other dogs and would probably thrive in a home with other friendly, outgoing dogs to give him some confidence. Whatever Jake has been through has left him shy and anxious with strangers, but give him a few minutes and he’ll be glued to you. We do want to see him be adopted into a home that is experienced with hounds and knows how to help build a dog’s confidence. Jake will be the BEST dog for someone willing to give him a chance. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped!
