Claire is a darling petite Russian Blue mix female born approximately 2/1/2019.

“HI! My name is Claire, but my foster mom calls me Little Claire, because I only weigh 7.5 lb. I was a stray for awhile and came to my foster mom’s yard to see if I could get something to eat. She was worried about me not surviving though harsh weather, so she contacted NBCR for help. My foster mom would like to keep me, but unfortunately, she has a full house.

I needed some time to trust her and other humans, but now I am not afraid of them anymore and love the attention and being pet. I enjoy sitting with them or on their laps to watch TV. I love to get a good scratch on my head and my butt. I also enjoy taking a nap on my favorite chair and watching outside through the window by myself. I am not timid anymore, but I will get a bit scared of loud noises and aggressive moves. I’ve gotten a lot better, but please remember I am a little girl and smaller than most other pets." :)

"Hi! I am Claire's foster mom. She is such a sweet, gentle, and loving little girl. She’s come a long way and deserves a forever loving home to settle in. She is very affectionate, super loving, and really gentle. She hasn’t scratched or chewed anything. She isn’t vocal, but purrs a lot.
She can be playful, but she is very content on her own when I am at work. At first, when I brought her inside, I was worried how she would do, but it turned out she loves being inside. She is already the sweetest, most calm and gentle, house-broken cat that hasn’t made a mistake. She really is a little angel!"
