I came to Pet Angel from Saginaw County Animal Control, after they didn't have space to keep me anymore. I've been at Pet Angel for a while now, because I had some medical issues that needed to be cleared up, and now that I'm healthy, I'm ready to go home!! I do have a medical issue that causes me to be a little different, but I don't require any extra care right now, my family just needs to be aware!
I'm a little shy when humans first meet me, but after you sit down and let me smell you, I'm all about pets! Here at Pet Angel, I live in a free-roam room with my roommate, Bunny! Bunny and I have become very good friends, and we are often caught snuggling together (but we always deny it when they ask!) I love to lay in fluffy beds (preferably with Bunny) hide in cat tunnels and curl up in hidey holes. I love to talk, and meow if I want attention and aren't getting it. I love wet food and treats, and I like to play with stick toys too!! I'm not a fan of loud noises or a lot of people coming around. I don't like to be chased and will act a little skittish at first, but after I realize you're here to love me, I open right up!
I am special needs, as I have Periodontal disease that affects my sinuses. I breathe through my mouth, often holding my mouth slightly open so I can breathe, and my eyes look like I have a cold. I don't, it's just how I am! I had a dental in June '22. and I don't need anything additionally done at this time, but my family needs to understand that I do have this condition and may need medical attention more frequently later in life.
I would like a quiet, indoor-only home (since I am special needs, this is important!) with no small children or dogs. I would LOVE a home with another kitty though! I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and I have tested negative for both FIV and FELV. To apply to meet me, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption form!
