P-nut is an adorable little miniature Am Staff. He was born with deformed front legs which cause him to walk on his elbows. He does well and other than not being able to move fast, he can live a normal life. He is a sweet fellow that was not socialized well early on in life so is very shy until he has a chance to get to know you. He does well with other dogs but is slow to play with them. He is a deserving boy with alot of fun and smiles and love to give someone. His tail is always wagging! Please don't let his handicap keep you from meeting him if you think you might be interested. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.

We strive to place our animals in the home that is the best possible match for the animal and the home. We have a four step process: 1. application 2. reference checks 3. phone interview 4. homevisit.

All our animals are spay/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on prevention. Our animals are in a homebased shelter and some are in foster care, so most are adjusted to the home experience and are crate trained. Our adoption fee is $125.

Pet Tender Angels is a rescue started by an individual who loves animals and wants to see no more homeless animals! The dogs in our rescue are off the streets. Strays, ferals, dumped....however they got there, our mission is to get them in loving homes and to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering and loving care of your pets. Pets are not material objects. They are part of the family and need love just like humans do.
