My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tigresa! This sweet two year old girl weighs about 30lbs and is smaller size. Tigresa is a very lovable pup but is still very shy. She was found with her sister Lilo, also for adoption, in Todos Santos about 4 months ago alone in the desert. She was very shy and it took a little over a week to finally catch both her and Lilo.

Tigresa may be shy at first but she is such a lover and cuddler once she warms up to her hoomans. She is dog friendly but not ready for pack setting, but does great one-on-one or in small groups. Currently she is let out with a smaller play group at the shelter and she loves to run and play during this time. Tigresa interacts with volunteers and workers she knows with affection and playfulness. She really just needs a family who can show her true love and affection for the rest of her life. She does well with all dogs big and small, and when brought around cats has not had any reactions. Tigresa is child approved, but we would suggest children old enough to explain she needs space during her first week to adjust and learn her new surroundings. She cannot wait to start a life in the PNW and go on all the fun car rides, she is kennel trained and is working on her confidence on a leash.

Tigresa can come the PNW whenever she has a home to go to, foster or adopter. We are typically able to ensure the dogs arrival within 10 - 15 days of adoption.

Tigersa’s adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $450USD.This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.
