My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a boisterous Eclectus Parrot who likes to dance, coo, and squawk. She is estimated to be around 7 years old. One of her favorite activities is playing with toys in her cage including foraging toys, boxes, index cards, and playing cards—anything that she can shred! Because she has a history of plucking, she will need to be supplied with toys that discourage feather destruction. She also enjoys eating fruits and veggies to supplement her diet of pellets. While she is tame, she can be tentative around hands. She will step up when she wants to and will even accept snuggles, head scratches, and kisses, but only on her terms. She will do best with a household that can interpret her body language and does not have shared walls. Adoption fee: $550

Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)
We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers.
