This handsome guy is Pugsley. Pugsley is around 8 months old and is hoping to find a family that is willing to continue training and commit to helping him work through some anxiety. Pugsley is a higher energy dog that loves his people and loves to play. Pugsley loves kids but his energy can be too much for small children, so he is searching for a home where all occupants are 12 or above. His foster home includes two female adult dogs that he gets along with great. Pugsley loves playing outside and chewing his toys in the sunshine. Pugsley has good house manners and does well with his basic commands. He adores his people and often can be found at the feet of his fosters or cuddled up with them on the couch. One of the things Pugsley loves most is going for long walks and exploring. Pugsley does display leash anxiety/aggression when encountering others along his walks. Pugsley is slowly over coming his anxiety and becoming more accepting of others along his walks, but he still needs continued training. He is learning new people are ok with frequent exposure and consistent walks. Pugsley also displays some anxiety when new people come into his home due to lack of socialization. He warms up quicker to women but needs additional practice and exposure to new men.

This puppy will be up to date on age appropriate and required vaccinations, and is microchipped. Pugsley has already been neutered. Please note that we are unable to hold dogs for any reason including moves and vacations. Once approved for adoption we require the adopter to complete the adoption and take ownership of their new companion.
