My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scrappy, a resilient soul, has faced life’s twists and turns. His previous owner’s passing left him seeking a new family—one that will embrace him with love. While his exact breed remains a mystery, his mix of qualities makes him truly unique.

Here’s what you need to know about Scrappy:

  • Loving and Happy: Despite life’s challenges, Scrappy wears a smile. His heart is open, ready to bond with those who show him kindness.

  • Shy but Quick to Warm Up: Initially reserved, Scrappy’s shyness fades swiftly. His wiggling butt reveals his joy as he realizes you’re a friend.

  • Solo Dog: Scrappy might thrive best as the only dog in his new home.

  • Cat Compatibility: His feelings toward cats remain uncertain, so a pet-free environment is recommended.

  • Adventure Seeker: Scrappy yearns for companionship on exciting escapades. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors or cozying up indoors, he’s game.

During these two weeks, we will work with you to facilitate training sessions if necessary, necessary appointments for your rescue animal and address and questions / concerns you may have.
