Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Chili, a quiet and gentle cat with a shy spirit and a heart full of potential. While she may be reserved at first, Chili’s sweet and loving nature begins to shine once she feels safe. She prefers the calm and comfort of quiet spaces, cozy corners, tucked away nooks, or a soft bed by the window where she can quietly observe the world around her. Chili isn’t one to rush into affection, but with time, patience, and a gentle approach, she starts to open up in the most rewarding ways. Her trust is something you earn, and once you do, you’ll discover a loyal, peaceful companion who simply wants to be loved on her own terms. She would thrive in a calm, low traffic home with someone who understands that the best relationships take time to grow. If you're looking for a soft spoken, gentle presence to share your space, Chili may just be the perfect match. To meet Chili please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org!

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
