Hey, my name is Wallace ! I'm a sweet boy looking for my furever home. Don't let my big size fool you, I am a big love bug looking for some affection. I love to be the center of attention and love people in general. I would need an adult only home. I am young and full of life so I would hope my potential adopters are up for an active lifestyle! If you think your home has a spot for a big pup with a big heart please come down to the shelter and meet me!

Wallace is a one year old pit who was brought to ARC when his previous owners could no longer care for him. Any potential canine siblings would require a meet and greet at our shelter. (a home without cats, would be best due to his size and energy).

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

You MUST first call or email to set up an appointment so that we can dedicate time to finding you the right fit!

2.
Submit Application

We will then call vet reference and personal refs listed.

3.
Take the Pet Home

After we call your references, if you are a good match for the pet you are applying for, we will set up an adoption day.

Animals are shown by appointment only at our shelter, which can be arranged by contacting Vicki Hess directly at vicki@nokillarc.org.

Animal adoption fees vary depending on the animal. Understand that ALL animals from Animal Resource Center are spayed / neutered, up to date on vaccinations, have had blood / parasite screening and will be microchipped upon adoption.

If interested in adopting an animal from Animal Resource Center after scheduling an appointment to meet them, you must fill out an application and provide a vet reference as well as two personal references.

If your application is approved, we will conduct a home visit with the animal to ensure that your home and family members are a good fit for them and you!

If you cannot keep your pet adopted from Animal Resource Center, you MUST return the pet to us.

The Animal Resource Center of Bloomsburg PA is a non-profit, no-kill, organization whose purpose is to provide shelter for homeless, abused, and neglected domestic animals; educate the public on the welfare and care of cats and dogs; and act as advocates for animal rights. We are also dedicated to promoting the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs; thereby, reducing the number of homeless and abandoned animals.
