My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The foster writes:
Nilah is a sweet girl with a mysterious past. Although a bit fearful, you can tell she always wants attention and to be loved. She will talk back when spoken to and will follow you around your home- at a distance!

Nilah is the sweetest lovebug there is! Although shy, she will love you with her entire being once she gets comfortable. She loves spending time with you and will always want attention and pets. She's a proper lady that won't get into any trouble or be aggressive. Check out her cute elevator butt and ability to engage in a 2-way conversation!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.
