Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rhodie was found as a stray on Oct 11, on the corner of two busy roads with no collar or tag. But surprisingly he was microchipped. Unfortunately, the microchip was not updated to include any prior shelter or current owner information. However, we think Rhodie is approx. 4.5-5 years old.
Rhodie has been an excellent houseguest in his current foster home and LOVES the company of his two K9 foster sisters. He has also met his two feline siblings and has been totally respectful of them. Although she does not leave Rhodie unsupervised with the kitties, Johanne believes he is cat workable.
Rhodie is a wonderful traveler and has attended children's soccer games. He loves laying at Johanne's feet and is comfortable with crowds and with people of all ages.
Johanne is committed to exercising him ("a tired dog is a happy dog" Cesar Millan) and building his confidence. Exercise and having other dogs or at least another dog to "pal around with and to hang out with" would be the perfect home Rhodie would greatly benefit from.
Despite all he's been through, Rhodie is a true GSD, one that is very affectionate and loyal, with a gentle soul and a loving, giving spirit.
