My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!
My name is Coral!!
I am a 4 month old female Shepherd /Staffordshire Terrier Mix. ❤️

I am a typical puppy that loves to give lots of kisses and play! I love to chew on things, especially sticks and rocks so I have to be watched carefully while outside and cannot be left alone.

I am crate trained and will let you know when I need to go potty when in the crate. I am still working on regular potty training but do well if I’m on a schedule. I will need help with leash training as my siblings and I are just starting to get used to leads and collars around our necks. I do great with all other dogs and people of all ages but I do think young kids would probably get in my way and I don’t want to hurt them so older kids for me please.

Due to the nature of my breed mix, I am looking for a family that has breed experience that will be dedicated to my ongoing training. This is a requirement and my amazing rescue will also help by donating back my adoption fee to a trainer who specializes in puppy training that we have lined up. But if you have your own trainer already that works too. We just need to ensure these kids are set for everlasting success. 👏👏👏

If I sound perfect for your family, please fill out an adoption interest form ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our animals are kept in foster care until we find them the best forever home. All prespective adopters fill out our interest form and have a home check as well as a meet and greet with the animal they are considering adopting. A small adoption fee is asked for depending on the animal and it's age etc. An adoption contract is signed by both parties and if there is any issue with the animal after adoption the adopter agrees to return the animal to us.

More about this rescue

Our dream at Vegas Pet Rescue Project is to positively impact the Las Vegas homeless, abused and abandoned pets that overwhelm our shelter system by giving them a new lease on LIFE. Our primary focus will be to assist the local animal shelters (Animal Foundation and Henderson Shelter) with the pets who have been given limited time to be adopted before they are removed from the shelter system due to a multitude of reasons. We will accomplish this goal through our extensive network of foster families, donations, and sponsors. We would also like to help finance spay and neuter programs to help low income families be responsible pet owners and decrease the overpopulation issues we face in Vegas. We also feel it important to collect pet supplies and food for local rescues and the city’s Good Samaritans who foster rescue pets and take in strays. Eventually we would love to help create a volunteer based program to investigate and bring down illegal breeding. We have been helping the pet rescue effort in the city for 3 years now and feel like we are just getting started.
