My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jay is looking for her furever home. She will be arriving at Vancouver or Toronto airport.

She is very affectionate, cuddly and friendly with people, including kids. She tends to get too excited when she sees cats.

She was living outside neglected with a short-chained leash. She was trained as a fighting dog by the previous owner, so she tends to guard hyper dogs. She is good with gentle dogs, ideally no other dogs in a home though.

Jay is housetrained, medium energy, has no separation anxiety, no barker and good recall.

More about this rescue

Adopt Korean Rescue is a volunteer-based federally registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in South Korea find a new home in Canada.

We love Korean dogs. Many of them live in chains, give birth on the side of the road, or wander around with their pups. Some of them get caught and end up at dog meat farms or high-kill shelters in South Korea. They luckily meet us just before euthanasia or after many years of living in dog meat farms. We exist to hold their paws and help them find a forever home in Canada full of joy and happiness.

Our dog rescue work depends on our flight volunteers. They help us safely bring our dogs from Korea to Vancouver or Toronto airports, where the dogs will find loving forever or foster homes.
