This is Marbles. He's about 2 years old and he's a very solid and handsome boy! He loves to play chase the spring toy, and will let you know if they've gone underneath the couch. He likes sleeping in the sun, treat puzzles, pouncing on your toes under the duvet and greeting family with loving chirps when they arrive home. He loves being picked up for cuddles and is an excellent biscuit maker on soft snuggly blankets, has a big appetite and will yell at you if breakfast is not served on time! His funny habit is drinking by dipping his paw, and he's great at using his scratch post - it needs to be tall for his long legs and he loves his cat tree! Marbles get along with dogs and other cats in the home - his best friend is a female cat Momo and he will meow if he can't find her - they're usually curled up together and if you're looking for the perfect pair of kitties they would love to stay together forever. Marbles is a fantastic friendly boy who deserves to find his very own family who are seriously committed to giving him a lifetime supply of spring toys and love. Adoption fees help offset the cost to our organization of providing full medical care (including spay or neuter surgery) to each animal we adopt to a furever home.

The Barrhead Animal Rescue Society (B.A.R.S.) was established in January 2010, and is dedicated to ensuring the humane treatment of all animals in the Town of Barrhead, the County of Barrhead and surrounding areas.
We provide a safe and nurturing environment for unwanted, abandoned, lost, and mistreated pets until they can be placed into loving homes. Through proactive intervention, public education, fundraising events, and community outreach, the Barrhead Animal Rescue Society seeks to promote respect for all life by breaking the cycle of abuse, neglect, and pet overpopulation in our communities.
