My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chipper is a sweet little guy that loves attention. He tends to be a bit standoffish in the beginning but we think it's because his brother had a big personality and overshadowed him. Once he gets attention from you, he seeks it out even more. He likes to play with other dogs and he ignores the resident cat. We also think he would be okay as an only dog if he has someone that is home a lot. He is crate trained, does not mark, and is doing great with potty training. He will need patience and consistency the first few weeks in his new home to continue his training. He absolutely loves children but would do best with children that understand how to handle small dogs.
Sadly when we got him, he was so matted that we had to have him sedated to comfortably shave him. He looks though, like he will have a beautiful soft coat whenever it grows back. He will be non-shedding and will require regular professional grooming.

We do not transport; adopters must come here to meet and adopt. Local adopters that are a good match will have priority.

All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on this year's vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. The adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an Adoption Application on our website at www.allpawsrescueok.org.
