Ranger is one of the gentlest, sweetest boys you will ever meet! This 8-year-old, 65lbs, yellow lab was surrendered to a shelter when his owner could no longer afford to care for him. His foster mom saw his big brown eyes and sweet face and knew that he deserved a second chance.

Ranger is nearly perfect. He is calm and well-behaved, yet still has a playful side as he enjoys wrestling with the other dogs in his foster home or playing with a ball. Most of his days are spent lounging on his comfy bed or curling up next to his human for some ear rubs. He is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He loves all people, kids, and other dogs. He hasn’t been tested with cats, but based on his calm, gentle demeanor, we suspect that he would be fine with them.
