Well hello to my future adoptive family. My name is Celeste and I’m a lot of fun. Let me tell you more about myself.
My start in this world was not a great one. I was left abandoned in Texas where I found some friendly people to feed me at a gas station for a few weeks. I was picked up by a family traveling through Texas and brought back to Ohio. They couldn’t keep me and somehow I ended up out in the country. My people at DHR had me scanned for a microchip and sent out a bulletin to Pet FBI in Texas and contacted the dog shelter in the county I was found but no one was looking for me so, after my stray hold was up, DHR gave me a spot with a foster family. They took me to the doctor for a checkup and they said I had ear infections but overall, was a healthy girl. I have put on some healthy weight, been spayed, microchipped, had all my vaccinations, am heartworm negative and have been on preventions for fleas, ticks and heartworm. I do well in my crate when my people are asleep or away. I am housebroken and love to play. I am good on a leash and give lots of love. I like to play with other dogs but I’m not good with cats…I want them to play with me but, I’m too into chasing them. I need to be kept an eye on in the house because I will get into things. I am eager to learn new things and food is my kryptonite so, they say I’m treat motivated. I would like a home with another active dog or, human. I could be a great running and walking partner. I’m up for all adventures if you are. I’m 45 pounds and about 11 months old. I don’t require a fenced in yard but I must be on leash while outside. Have you been thinking you need some more exercise in your life? Do you have a brother or, sister for me, that has energy they need to run off? I’m your girl! My people think I’m a terrier mix but I’m on the small side - I’m just the right size! They say I’m so beautiful that pictures don’t do me justice whatever that means.
