This is the information that we received from Bre's current foster:
Meet Bre! She is a 1 (ish) year old Border Collie mix who weighs 55 pounds that my husband and I rescued last week from euthanasia at a North TX shelter. We aren't in a position to foster long-term, and we are looking for another foster or adopter.
About Bre:
She is such a gentle soul, and just wants to be loved. She is great with our 2-year-old son who is constantly giving her belly rubs. We have a 6-year-old dog that she loves to play with, but also knows her boundaries. She is a puppy, but chills out after a little activity. She loves playing catch, is treat-motivated, walks well on a leash and is potty- and crate-trained. She didn't even flinch when we had that huge storm the other night. She sleeps in her crate at night, away from the rest of the family, and does well. She waits patiently in the morning for us to let her out. She is submissive around other animals and people at first, but quickly warms up. I have not seen any signs of aggression. If anything, she's rather shy. She may bark occasionally, but can be quieted with treats. She has been through a lot in her 1 ish years of life, but I am so happy that she is alive and thriving. Please let me know if you are interested in fostering/adopting this sweet girl.
