Hi - I'm Kate! I am approx. 2 years young and I am spayed, vetted and ready for adoption here at Advocates 4 Animals!
My life started out *very* tough. Words and photos cannot begin to convey the conditions I was rescued from. I was rescued with 40+ other cats and kittens from a house that had been foreclosed on. The home had not had running water or electricity for over a year and we (cats) were forced into living in beyond unsanitary conditions.
Thankfully, Advocates 4 Animals was able to make sure we all got to safety and that we were all spayed/neutered and vetted. Due to the trauma we endured prior to rescue, I (and the others rescued) will naturally be shy and reserved when first meeting you - as we want to be sure we can trust you and that we can trust that our new home/environment will be clean, loving, kind, and a true forever home. It is important that I find a home that is understanding of my past and that is patient with me to warm up and adjust.
I prefer a home that is calm and kind/caring. I will do best in a home without small children and without dogs.
I really enjoy being petted, hanging out with you, looking out windows, playing with cat toys, lounging around, and being loved on.
I especially love Da Bird feather wand toy! I love the toy called SmartyCat, too. I enjoy toy mice and scrunchie ball toys, as well.
And I also love watching YouTube "Videos for Cats" and listening to calm music.
I am *VERY* sweet and very cute! I endured the unthinkable prior to rescue and now I am ready to find a loving, forever home - my dream home! I have so much love to share!
