My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OAKLEY was rescued from a hoarder home that had over 100 cats, 2 dogs and a pig. When he was first rescued he was shutdown, depressed and very unsure about his new environment and people.  He was not accustomed to any love or attention from humans.  Now however, after spending a couple of months in his foster home, he has really come out of his shell and blossomed into a very loving little companion kitty. He runs up to his foster mom for pets and follows her all around the house. He responds very well to his name and comes when called. He has discovered toys and LOVES to play! He also loves to wrestle and play chase with one of the other foster kitties. He is such a funny and curious little guy and has to be a part of every activity in his foster home. He is especially curious when visitors come to the home; he peeks around the corners and checks them out but is still nervous to come up to them.

Oakley will do best in a mature home or one with older cat-savvy children (14+).  He is currently in a foster home with several other cats and his foster Mom’s cat-friendly dog and will likely get along with other calm cat-friendly dogs and cats after proper introductions.

Oakley will be somewhat shy when he first goes to his forever home but with a little love, time and patience, he will be your best bud in no time!  He is an amazing boy and so deserving of a loving forever home.

Oakley was born approximately July 22, 2017, and his adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweetheart at our adoption center this weekend!
