Meet Mack! Mack is a big goof ball male mastiff – boxer mix, maybe toss in some hound too, but overall, he’s just a good boy looking for a caring home. Mack’s larger in size, and while he gets along with some other dogs he prefers females and he needs a home with no cats. This makes it harder for him to find the right home of course, but we know someone will fall in love with his goofy antics and snuggly persona if given the opportunity. We would like to see Mack find a home with someone dog savvy, who will continue to work with him once adopted. Mack’s been in the program for a while which can start to affect their behavior when surrounded by many other boarded dogs. For this reason, we hope Mack finds a home soon, and is given the opportunity for a home he deserves.

Adoption Fee: $200
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
