She was found wandering alone in the mountains near Dahlonega, and while she can still be a little shy when meeting new people, it’s easy to understand why. Lucy’s adoption fee is $150 which includes her spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, 2 FVRCP vaccines, FIV/FeLV combo test (Lucy is negative!) and she is up to date on flea/tick preventative.

We do adoptions on the square in Dahlonega most weekends, attend various local events, have annual fundraisers, and our animals can be seen at the shelter any day from 10:00 - 4:30 (an hour for lunch from 12:00-1:00). Come by and see the new changes at the shelter as well, ask to volunteer, or just introduce yourself and meet the wonderful staff members.

Established in 1977, TLC is one of the oldest no-kill shelters in North Georgia. Our shelter is on about six acres near the Lumpkin County shelter, and about five miles east of Dahlonega. Our focus is saving as many homeless pets as we can, and preventing the birth of unwanted pets. We have always relied on private donations to care for as many animals as we can.
