AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - NORAH

BREED - Bulldog mix
SIZE - About 30 pounds
AGE - 5-ish years
GENDER - Female
MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known
BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Norah is a super sweet girl who came to us recently from a central NC shelter. Her owners never came to claim her and she found herself facing euthanasia. Several of the shelter volunteers got together and paid to have her boarded to save her life while they begged rescues for help. We are happy that we were able to work with those volunteers to offer her a new opportunity. This doll is a perfect lady, about 30 pounds (and could stand to lose a few of those) who seems to love everyone she meets. She is not a fan of other animals, so should be considered only for homes where she will be an "only child." Norah is also not a girl who enjoys dog parks or leash walking where other dogs are present. A home with a securely fenced yard is in Norah's best interest. Don't let her dislike of other pets deter you if you're looking for a love bug - Norah is such a wonderful gal!

Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. More information on our website at www.carerva.com.
