Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mr Milo! Milo is a young, small breed super mutt mix about 20lbs and 1 year old. He arrived by way of Stockton Animal Shelter where he was kenneled with 2 other dogs that he may have known in the past. Milo is GOOD with cats and currently in foster with one. He is playful with dogs and is very puppy like but knows his boundaries. Mr Milo is a super cuddle muffin with his people - always by your side and we think he would make a wonderful emotional support animal. Milo is currently working with a trainer to learn that strangers are okay! He would do best with slow and patient introductions to new people, preferably a quiet home with adults only.
Milo is house and crate trained with good house manners. He loves car rides and going on walks! Treat motivated, making him easy to train and he is a people pleaser! Milo would love a backyard to play fetch along with a confident dog role model.

Interested in adopting?
1. Please complete our online form at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application
2. We will respond in 1-3 days for a call!
3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home
Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time.
