My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Posting Jareth again in hopes that his forever family is looking.

Stats:
-Approx. 1-2 y/o
-27#
-neutered, utd, HW-, chipped
-mostly potty trained
-high energy

Requirements:
-fenced in yard (NO apartments)
-Active working or sport home. Jareth needs a job!
-another friendly playful high energy dog in the home (Jareth is fearful of bigger dogs and too rambunctious for most smaller dogs)
-Herding breed experience

Note:we are NOT considering applications that do not meet these requirements!

Dislikes:
-bigger dogs
-being in his crate

Other:
-Jareth is fine with dog savvy cats
-respectful children 10+
-walks nicely on a leash
-wouldn’t be a good fit for people who are gone all day
-needs a training class or two to learn cues and how to focus

If you are interested in meeting Jareth and meet the requirements above, complete the meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home including pets. Jareth's adoption fee is $475 and we are not doing out of state adoptions.

More about this rescue

CO Corgis and Friends is a 501 c3 dog Rescue (specializing in Corgis and other lowrider breeds) that was formed in late 2019 by a group of Corgi loving people who not only love and understand the Corgi breed, but love all other dogs as well. The founding members have over 100+ years of experience owning Corgis and 50+ years in Rescue. It is our pleasure to help homeless dogs in need, help struggling owners rehome their pets, and offer advice on training issues typical of this herding breed. Please feel free to contact us to see if we can help!
Our mission is to help find Corgis and other breeds loving forever homes, share our knowledge of the Corgi breed through outreach and education, help reduce the pet population by promoting spay/neuter, and educating the community about responsible pet care and relationships.
