What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Please note we had first listed Ollie on rehome when we found him 3 years ago. Ollie had come to us as an injured stray in 2022. He had a broken left foot, but after some time healing up, he fit right into our home so we kept him. He's fully house-trained (may mark if left unattended), likes his crate, and is happiest either cuddling with you or stretched out on a soft blanket. He loves sitting in the sun, snacking on carrots, chasing squirrels, and curling up with his stuffed animals. He's about 5 years old and roughly 10 lbs. The reason he's up for adoption is because, like a lot of chihuahuas, he can be reactive. For example if he's asleep on your lap and gets startled, he may growl or snap - so you just need to give him a heads-up before getting up. He's an alpha and can be hot/cold, almost like a cat. With a newborn in the house now, we can't take any risks. Ollie knows basic commands. He would do best as the only pet and someone who understands chihuahua behavior.
