My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE FROM MJ'S FOSTER FIELD TRIP:
MJ was amazing. Such a love! She just wanted to be cuddled on the couch - getting belly rubs and giving kisses in return. She slept through the night in her dog bed or by my side and only had one accident (my fault).
She did not try to chew any furniture, and didn’t play much with toys - but she does love dish towels! ❤️
She responds well to correction and I think will do great with a little training (for her jumping) - she just wants to please you.
She has low-medium energy from what I’ve seen. A few normal zoomies, then she is right by your side looking for affection. She walks well on a leash and is great in the car.
This girl deserves the most loving home. She’s been waiting over a year with CPR for someone to look beyond her “throaty” noises and see the loyal, loving companion I know she will be.

Mary Jane is a smart girl with places to go and things to do! This 50 pound beauty is clever, treat motivated, and eager to please. Mary Jane enjoys chasing the ball and will happily hit the trails to go, go, go with her human bestie. She likes to have a job to do and she is smarter than your average 5th grader. She will be a pleasure to take to obedience classes and she would be a super star player of hide and seek. If you are looking for a smart & athletic new best friend, Mary Jane might just be your girl!

Mary would do best with older children only, just because she is very playful and silly. She is a great car rider and loves going new places! Such a fun and outgoing young lady ready to have a good time and is always the life of the party!
In celebration of Pumpkin Spice and all that's nice, this young lady's adoption fee has been reduced to $300.
Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
