My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

(In Foster Care)

THE TALE OF TWO KITTIES!

Once upon a time there was a wonderful, sweet and kind woman who adored her two cats more than anything else in life. The sweet woman doted on her cats, gave them the best of everything, and always made room in her tiny lap for her two precious companions. Likewise, her two cats adored her as much as she adored and doted on them. They would follow her everywhere she went in the house, and would carry on darling conversations with her. They knew what fortunate cats they were because every single day of their life was just like a fairy tale that ended happily. Years went by and the kind woman and her devoted cats lived their best life. With kisses, head butts, purrs, and cuddles. They couldn’t imagine life being any better than this.

As in many tales, tragedy often times strikes, which is exactly what happened in the lives of the sweet woman and her two devoted kitties. You see, this isn’t a make-believe story at all. The kind woman tragically passed away one night with her beloved cats by her side, which is where they were found.

It goes without saying that the woman’s cats were devastated. Their grief being as bad as any human’s grief at the loss of a loved one. Fortunately a foster mom stepped forward and offered to foster the woman’s cats until they could find new homes. What the foster mom wasn’t prepared for, was the deep, agonizing grief these two wonderful cats were experiencing at the loss of their beloved owner. They were inconsolable. The foster mom did everything possible to make them feel loved, well cared for, while still respecting their need to grieve. After a few months, the sweet woman’s beloved cats started to come around. They started to find joy again, and through that joy their foster mom was able to see what absolutely amazing cats they are. Just being the over-the-top affectionate, sweet, interactive, lovable cats that they both are, speaks volumes about what a wonderful home they had with the kind woman and how lovingly they were treated. They are truly two of the most affectionate, lovable, sweet cats you’d ever want to meet!

Little Girl is 11 years young! She looks and acts like a young cat - although she swears she’s never had any “work done”. She’s a gorgeous petite calico who is an attention seeking lap cat who will follow you everywhere! She has a very calm disposition. She likes to talk to you, she adores people, is very sociable, affectionate and loving! She eats canned cat food twice daily and prefers pate’. She loves sunning herself on the cat tower and is a very good girl and just a total sweetie pie who you’ll adore, just like her sweet mama did.

Big Boy is Little Girl’s son. He is 10 years young; a big solid body-builder kind of guy, but a gentle giant to the core! He’s a beautiful gray tabby with short hair. Big Boy is SO loving and affectionate! He has a very laid-back disposition and adores being someone’s lap kitty! He likes to talk to you and follow you around to see what you’re up to! He is gradually getting off the dry food and is eating wet food very nicely. He is also just as sweet as the day is long. Its quite apparent the kind woman treated her cats extremely well and loved them beyond words.

Both kitties have been spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. They’re both over the top wonderful kitties who really miss having special people to dote on them and vice versa. Ideally they’d love a home with more than one person, so they could each have a lap to sit in! (But its not a deal breaker). They are wonderful cats who have been waiting a very long time to find their special person or people. You won’t regret it. You can’t hardly find two nicer kitties. Take them home and make your heart smile and your home complete.
