My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogs

SIDNEY bka “Sid”
Our precious boy was born blind. Since he’s never known a different life, this “ailment” hasn’t affected him much at all. He embodies the “handi-capable” moniker. Sid is also a bit of a “close talker”. He doesn’t know personal space / boundaries because… well… he can’t SEE! Sid moves through life with reckless abandon. His throttle is stuck towards rabbit mode and like a bumper car, he just glances off things and keeps moving forward! Happy go lucky!

Sid is potty trained, very loving, and wants nothing more to be a companion animal to his humans. He hates being alone, crates are a big no, and while he’s dog-friendly, it’s important the other dogs in a potential home be the sort that would be ok with him bumping into them routinely.

Sid is about 12 pounds, HW-, UTD, neutered, and ready to interview forever families. Sid doesn’t let being blind stop him from enjoying life and we hope to find a family who agrees, it’s not big thing!

Sid especially finds tremendous comfort when allowed to snuggle with his people so if you’re looking for a constant companion, Sid may be the dog for you!

Sid will be fully vaccinated, Neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption donation is $250
