My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elena and Neva are littermate sisters who are very closely related to HECKLE & JECKLE, or FRICK & FRACK, or Tweedle dee & Tweedle dumb. They were running the foothills in Vacaville for several months until they were finally subdued and brought back to civilzation. They are older pups about a year old. They are rough coated sable & white and all you need is just one picture because they look that much alike. Neva is highly active and thinks she would like to be an agility star. She can fly. She jumps and leaps for joy and is quite creative. The rest of the collies just watch in wonder. This morning she was tossing dirt clods and chasing them, while the others just watched. Elena on the other hand is Neva's audience, and she isn't sure about her sister's antics but she willingly follows Neva, whatever her creative motivation may be. Actually, these girls need to be separated as Neva actually overpowers Elena who just needs to be reassured that life is good.

They really want to fit in to the home, it's just that there is so much to learn. They will need firm parameters to be established, as well as patience, while they learn to adapt to family living. We are learning that being in the house is really a good thing and that meeting people not only tastes good but feels good. So far their collie nature is shining through as my special kids are taking them for walks and these two girls are quite natural in the presence of children. New - 11.17.05
