Nala & Jessie are 2.5- year-old Shepard mixes. They just recently arrived at DCHS from a not so ideal situation. Up until now these girls have lived their entire lives outside, one chained up to a tree and the other kept in a small enclosure next to her. Enduring lonely days and nights, some of those very cold during the winter months.

As a result of their previous living quarters, the girls are a bit shy at first but just sweet as can be after about 5 minutes in a safe space.

Nala & Jessie are not yet house trained but are still a great age to learn. They will need that special adopter, full of patience and kindness, to scoop them up and show them what being loved and part of the family is all about.

Nala and Jessie Do Not Need to be Adopted Together.

If you think you're that special person, someone willing to teach, and love.. someone that these girls need, We strongly encourage you to come and visit them any Tuesday or Thursday from 12-7pm. As well as Saturdays from 12-4pm.
