This beautiful girl has come a long way since she first entered our program. Sara who was found as a stray with her daughter Lee was undersocialized and lacked manners. Both dogs were also going through an extensive deworming treatment and both of the girls have been medically cleared!
Sara does very well on pack walks with other dogs and is very playful and desires constant attention from her humans. Meet and greets will be necessary for any applicant that has a dog in the home. She has never been exposed to cats so we recommend a home with no cats at this time. We also recommend a home with children 7 and up.
While we have been working with her on her commands and training, she would very much benefit in a home that will continue to work with her. Sara is very treat motivated so that will make continued training a breeze!
Sara will need to be spayed prior to adoption. So we are currently looking for a foster home or a foster to adopt home to facilitate this. Sara will not be placed into any home that has an unaltered male dog.
