Meet MARTY! This little cutie-pie is an 11-month-old, male, 13 lb Yorkie (60%) / Chihuahua (20%) mix. Hard to believe, right?!? Well, his fabulous Foster Mom did his DNA and what an incredible mix (will share the rest with his adopter)!
Marty is an absolute delight! He is a tiny guy with a lot of silly, loving personality! He loves to play with toys and is very good at self-entertaining. Marty is very smart, knows sit, and aims to please, so he will be a Star Pupil in training class.
He is now housetrained, loves to go on walks, is great with other dogs, and is eager to meet them. Marty is a lover and a snuggler! His favorite thing is belly rubs! This young lad runs hard and passes out hard, but it doesn't take much to get his energy going, so he needs an active family who will enjoy going on adventures with him and be dedicated to training and working with him. He is a puppy, after all, and needs what all puppies do.
Marty was abandoned by his family at a Fire Station, so he is a little shy with new people at first and nervous to be alone. But, he warms up to be the sweetest little love. He might bark initially when alone, but he has proven to stop once he is used to his new surroundings. It would be a bonus if his new Forever Family already had a canine friend for him.
All in all, Marty is such a good boy and just a doll! He is a sweet, happy, fun, active, and snuggly pup. Fill out our application today to make this wonderful boy your new best friend and snuggle up for the winter!
